Hello, Organizing Team. Season greetings. My name is Victor, a participant of the 48 hours jam. I have a number of questions about the game jam as there seems to be insufficient information. Can we work solo or we have to be in teams?
If we have to work in teams, how do we form teams? Can previous game assets be used in the game we submit? What platforms are we developing for? Is the game jam for all African nations? Is there a discord server for the jam?
What is the timeline for games to be judged and prizes to be awarded? An early response will be much appreciated.
Hi Victor, yes, you can work solo, and yes, you can use previously created individual assets; however, the idea has to be something new that you have never worked on before. Yes, there is a Discord server that will be shared in a few hours.
The Jam is open to all African countries! After the Jam, the Judges will have one day to judge the games, and the awards will be announced the next day, Monday, 9th June.
Noted. Thank you for the prompt response.
